Rural individuals' telehealth practices : an overview

Summary: Using 2015 household data, this report examines participation in three basic activities of "telehealth," defined as the use of health care services or access of health information by Internet. Rural residents were less likely than urban residents to engage in online health research, online health maintenance (communicating with providers, paying bills) or online health monitoring.
